  1. Post live video expressing your excitement around your book

When people decide to engage in or with something, they often do so on the basis of persuasion. It is important to note that you must be intentional about your approach to promotional content concerning your book launch. You want those who come in contact with anything concerning your book, whether planned or spontaneous to have a certain feeling and reaction. Your email list tends to be those who are not just interested in viewing what you have to offer (product or service), but doing business with you. For this reason, never forget to send an exciting announcement regarding your book launch to them. You will be surprised at how many of your email subscribers will support you in one way or the other.

 4. Use social media stories to build a buzz

A “bbuuuzzz” is necessary to gain attention and increase your audience for your book and supporters for your book launch. Social media stories are free and once you have an internet connection you have the freedom to use it as much as you want. You do not need much for a buzz. You can have a few videos of people expressing their excitement for the book launch and you do the same. Include gifs and pictures of your book. Make it creative and most importantly, make it you!

 5. Release a book trailer

Again, be creative! Release a book trailer. Ensure the book is adequately featured. Use colours to the feel of excitement for purchasing the book and attending the launch (warm and bright colours). A character interacting with the book helps to add personality to the video.
